OBJECTIVE

To obtain a challenging position involving computer systems administration, utilizing skills learned in LAN and WAN maintenance, database design and implementation, and Web design.  I have training in these areas as well as some computer programming skills.  I also have an extensive work history that includes technical writing and safety and security related functionality.

 

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

 

For the past 13 months, I have focused on completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.  Prior to returning to school, I worked as a Loss Prevention Manager at a Home Improvement Center for five months.  In this position, I was responsible for the daily safety and security of the store, and responsible for the protection of customers, employees, and company assets.  I developed procedures for tracking and minimizing losses due to operational errors, and internal and external dishonest practices.  I trained employees to recognize and control inventory shrink potential. Additionally, I provided quick, courteous, and responsive customer service as required.  I have extensive experience in technical, operational, and joint test and evaluation of military systems.  I performed duties involving intelligence scenario development, leadership, management, instructional design and presentation, security procedures, accountability, and research, development, test and evaluation of electronic warfare systems.  I am familiar with a variety of message standards in multiple baselines.  I have a working knowledge with a variety of computer systems.  I have held a Top Secret security clearance with special background investigation as recently as February 2002.  Highly dedicated and motivated to the accomplishment of assigned missions.

Research, Development, Test and Evaluation

 

Supervised and conducted testing of electronic warfare systems at technical, operational, and joint organizations.  Oversaw contractor, environmental and government testing and reported individual incidents and overall test results.  Authored test plans, detailed procedures, performed posttest analysis of data, and produced test reports with an emphasis on answering Measures of Performance and Measures of Effectiveness.  Represented organizations at high-level briefings and working groups, including Reliability and Maintainability Scoring Conferences.

 

Computer Experience

 

Experienced in the maintenance and use of personal computers using Microsoft operating systems and application suites.  Established and maintained a peer to peer network for the office personal computers.  Basic UNIX and Sun Solaris Operating system and System Administration experience, and basic DEC Open VMS operating system and editing experience.

 

 

 

Intelligence Scenario Development

 

Developed database structures to produce intelligence scenarios.  These scenarios were used to support equipment testing, field training and command post exercises.  Portrayed a higher echelon intelligence organization to provide intelligence support in real time mode in support of unit training missions.  Experienced in communications intelligence analysis at strategic and tactical levels.

 

Training and Instructional Design

 

Researched, developed and authored instructional materials to include lesson plans, student handouts and examinations for courses in Radio Traffic Analysis, Intelligence report generation and quality control, and automated intelligence systems.  Presented instruction to over 5000 students in Intelligence related subjects during a two-year period.  Served as a subject matter expert on the technical aspects of analysis and reporting of communications intelligence operations and electronic warfare organization and equipment.
